Description

Barnt Green Acupuncture Clinic is situated on the borders of Worcestershire and Birmingham. There are good rail links to and from Birmingham city centre. Jan Davis also works in Stourbridge

It was set up by Jan Davis and Nan Fellows in 1997, both traditionally trained, widely experienced, fully licensed and insured members of the British Acupuncture Council the largest governing body for acupuncturists in the UK.

Acupuncture originated in China and other far eastern cultures where it still features in mainstream health-care both as a standalone therapy and in combination with conventional Western Medicine. Acupuncture is now widely used and accepted all over the world. In the UK more and more people are finding out what acupuncture can do for them.

Many people come to acupuncture for help with specific symptoms or to relieve specific pains like osteoarthritis of the knee. Some use acupuncture because they feel generally unwell but have no obvious diagnosis. Others choose acupuncture simply to enhance their feeling of well-being. Acupuncture is considered suitable for all ages including babies and children. It can be used effectively alongside conventional medicine.

With traditional acupuncture, treatment is aimed at the root of your condition as well as your main symptoms. This approach helps with resolving your problem and enhancing your sense of well-being.

Our patients love the calm relaxed state and sense of well being an acupuncture treatment can bring.

Acupuncture is now widely used to help a variety of ailments both chronic and acute.

Jan Davis has a particular interest in fertility, having undertaken specialist training in this area and is a founder member of \'Zita West National Network for Reproductive Health\' as an affiliated acupuncturist.
