Description

The Cotswold Health Centre, situated in the centre of Stroud, is a holistic therapy centre, offering a wide range of alternative and complementary therapies as well as boasting a sensory deprivation floatation tank. It has over thirty registered practitioners, whose main aim is to support those who choose to maintain health without the excessive use of medical drugs. The centre offers preventative as well as curative therapies, with weekly Pilates, Yoga and Qigong classes. The centre also promotes a systemic and holistic approach to therapy that addresses the underlying causes of illness and attends to all dimensions of the human condition. The centre runs weekly courses in mindfulness meditation and the Patrick Holford’s “Zest4Life” Nutrition and weight loss programme.

The centre is usually open from 9am to 9pm but may close early on Monday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Reception is friendly and relaxed and is manned whenever the centre is open. Reception can help you find a suitable therapy or practitioner with whom you can have a free initial discussion, in person or by phone, to assist you in your choice of treatment. The centre’s website has detailed information on the individual practitioners and the many therapies they provide, as well as prices and availability. Therapies include Acupuncture, Allergy Testing, Aromatherapy, Bowen Technique, Coaching, Colonic Hydrotherapy, McTimoney Chiropractic, Metamorphic Technique, Craniosacral, Cranial Osteopathy, Dr Hauschka, Massage, Floatation, Homeopathy, Hypnotherapy, Iridology, KaiAmea, Massage, Nutrition, NLP, Psychophonetics, Pilates, Qigong, Reflexology, Reiki, Rosen, Sauna, Shiatsu and Yoga.
