Description

We provide fully qualified, friendly and efficient chiropractic services to relieve joint and muscle pain, based in Westbury, Wiltshire.

Whether you have a sports, gardening or wear and tear injury or general aches and pains we can help alleviate your symptoms with a personal plan and tailored treatment programme. You do not need to suffer back or joint pain longer than necessary.

You can call us to make an appointment, use What Clinic or visit our website to register and book online.

You are also welcome to get in touch via email, Facebook, Google+, Twitter or drop in to see us if you have any questions.

First Visit

The main aim of the first visit is to determine the cause of your pain and to provide a diagnosis. This is established by initially interviewing you, asking questions about the pain and gaining an understanding of your general medical history.

Secondly a very thorough examination is carried out which includes the whole of the spine and relevant joints. You will be asked to undress and wear a gown if necessary so that we can appropriately see the involved area.

When your chiropractor has reached the diagnosis a decision is made to determine whether this condition is suitable for chiropractic treatment. If so a personal programme will be created.

About Us

Dr Kay Pearce, BSc (Hons) MSc, DC, ICSSD. Doctor of Chiropractic

Kay graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 2001 with an honours degree in human science and a Masters of Chiropractic. Following this she completed the International Chiropractic Sports Science Diploma (ICSSD) in Turin, Italy in 2006.

She worked in two busy Wiltshire practices until opening Maristow Chiropractic Clinic in 2003. The demand was such that expansion was required, and in 2010 the Clinic moved to the larger, current premises.

Kay has a special interest in treating sporting injuries and was selected as a “Gamesmaker\" for the 2012 Paralympic games as part of the medical services team. She has worked trackside at numerous other national and international sporting events.

More locally, Kay has been the team medic for Trowbridge Rugby Football Club since 2004 where she is responsible for all pitch side first aid and both pre and post match treatments.

Kay has been a European Instructor for Graston Technique and in 2012 formed Kinnective Limited with her good friend and former college class mate, Donna Strachan. Together with physiotherapist Mike Chisholm, the Kinnective team regularly instructs elite sports teams across the UK.

2015 has seen Kay honoured as a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractors in recognition of her continuous work and dedication to improving the profession with a clear focus on self-improvement aimed at providing the very best chiropractic care.

Kay is fully registered with the General Chiropractic Council (no.01280) is a member of the British Chiropractic Association and a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractors.

Dr Alec Dolman. BSc (Hons). MChiro, Doctor of Chiropractic

Alec graduated from the University of Glamorgan in July 2012 after four years of full time study, obtaining a Masters of Chiropractic degree. Alec is a passionate sportsman with experience of playing for Premier League standard academies and has recently returned from representing Cardiff City Futsal Club in the UEFA Cup.

This fundamental love of exercise and competition has helped promote a keen interest in sports injuries; he has already been spotted on the touchlines of international rugby fixtures acting as the Chiropractor for Denmark Rugby Union Team.

He plans to attend further seminars and courses to continue to enhance his clinical ability to help with your muscle and joint pain, with the eventual goal of earning his International Chiropractic Sports Science Diploma.
