Identifying a need to help women develop and regain their sense of self and confidence, We are proud to open our unique Women’s Health Department, at Dr Nestor’s Medical Cosmetic Centre., the first of it’s kind in Scotland. Dr Nestor’s ethos has always been to bring out the best in you and help you wear your years with pride. Dr Rosy, with her years of experience in general practice and Women’s Health,

Feminine Tightening

42% of women in the UK suffer from a form of urinary incontinence, with stress incontinence the leading type. Only 25% of these women visit their doctor for advice, many suffering alone. A leading cause of stress incontinence is vaginal delivery. This is due to the damage caused to collagen in the birth canal during delivery, which never fully regains its integrity and elasticity. Tightening and restoring the physiology in this area can stop those uncomfortable moments.

Stress Incontinence and vaginal laxity as a result of the above can undermine a woman’s body image and self esteem. Sadly, a woman’s intimate health after childbirth and post menopause remains a largely taboo subject. We feel that these issues impact women daily and should no longer stay taboo.

Dr Rosy believes that women of all ages and stages have the right to good sexual health. The World Health Organisation defined sexual health as ”Mental, physical and social well being in the sphere of sexuality”
