Description

Mr Thomas Chapman can offer a range of cosmetic procedures as well as hand surgery, skin cancer treatment, sarcoma treatment, diagnosis and treatment of lumps, benign skin conditions and mole assessment. I have a friendly informal and non-judgemental approach, you can discuss your concerns in a relaxed environment with no need for embarrassment. I believe in the best continuity of care, and will support you through the decision making process before surgery and in the postoperative period. Unlike many clinics I do not rely on other surgeons or nurses to performs parts of the procedure or postoperative care. Once you have been a patient of mine I never charge for a postoperative appointment and have an open access policy. This means you can book back in to see me anytime, even years later. In my experience, patients find this reassuring and know they are in good hands. I have extensive training in cosmetic surgery, having completed a number of competitive aesthetic fellowships in London, Italy and the USA, supported by a scholarship from the British association of plastic surgeons, of which I am a full member, and an award from the royal college of surgeons, of whom im a specialist fellow (FRCSPlast). Due to this broad experience I can advise on the best treatment for you depending on your circumstances and needs, rather than just what is available. Unfortunately, some clinics will only offer the one treatment they are trained to do, rather than what is best for the patient. My tailor-made approach means my patients are very satisfied with results and they, as well as staff at the hospitals where I work, recommend me to their friends and family. I am responsible for the training and assessment of junior surgeons in plastic surgery, and am an invited speaker to international meetings and courses. I have over 30 peer review publications and have contributed to surgical textbooks and guidance. I am a governor at Bristol University. I can offer appointments in Bristol, Gloucester, Cheltenham or Worcester. To learn more, visit my website- there you can read patient reviews and see before and after photos of each procedure, as well as download patient information leaflets. If you are unsure if you want to pay for a full consultation you can book in for a free 10 minutes chat to discuss your concerns, meet me and get a quote for your procedure.
