The Lanes Medical Practice is a Private GP Surgery, with affordable same day appointments. No registration is required. We offer the Meningitis B vaccine at £200 /dose, complementing a full range of general medical services.  The Lanes Practice Travel Clinic is  fully stocked to enable you to start vaccination at your first appointment.  The Lanes Practice is owned and run by Dr Nicholas Cheese. We stock the full range of vaccines and antimalarials relevant to worldwide travel including chicken pox, flu and MMR. The Lanes Practice can carry out an extensive  range of medicals including HGV, occupational health, diving, confined space medicals and many others. The Lanes Practice has excellent stocks of the new Meningitis B vaccine from Novartis. Meningitis is the disease which kills more under five year old children than any other.
The NHS is to roll out a vaccination program for babies 12 weeks and under this autumn. Whilst we are delighted the majority of children will Not be included, and a catch up program has not been proposed. This vaccine is only available privately.
The Men B is a very expensive vaccine to purchase.
At The Lanes Medical Practice we want to make it affordable to as many families as possible at £200 per dose.

The Practice can carry out resting ECGs, vision and hearing screening and lung function testing, with daily courier service for blood pathology. We have a close working relationship with NHS hospitals and the nearby Spire Thames Valley and Princess Margaret Hospitals, and have an extensive network for specialist referral as well as rapid access to specialist imaging services (eg X-ray).

Corporate health and tropical screening is undertaken on behalf of a number of local national and international companies active in all regions of the world. This can be done at the Practice or at your premises.

Dr Cheese qualified from the Middlesex Hospital in 1981 and obtained his JCPT GP Certificate in 1986. He practised as a principal and partner in general practice in west London for 11 years before leaving the NHS. He Since 1997, he has been running the Lanes Medical Practice since 1997 and is the principal doctor for national and local companies, including Pinewood and Shepperton Studios.

We have full time physiotherapy working late and early appointments together with weekends.

Our dedicated on-site reception staff can guide you through your medical needs and give discrete, and experienced advice of likely treatment costs/duration/insurance procedures. We are very flexible over appointments, and are a patient driven, service led practice.

We are located just off Wexham Street, a few minutes’ drive from Wexham Park Hospital and easily accessible from the M4, M40, M25 and Heathrow.
