I am a chartered physiotherapist, a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and HCPC registered. 

I treat any acute injuries (including sports, whiplash, neck, shoulder, elbow, hand, back, pelvic, hip, knee and foot conditions). Conditions can be recent or can be ongoing such as arthritic pain. I also provide post-operative rehabilitation, physiotherapy following fractures and treatment for work related or postural pains. 

After graduating in 1999 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy I specialised in musculoskeletal outpatients, working with children and adults presenting with any musculoskeletal problem. 

As a postgraduate I have achieved several further qualifications: I am an Accredited member of The Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and have an Advanced Clinical Practice Diploma with The Society of Musculoskeletal Medicine. I am also qualified to provide steroid injections in the NHS setting. 

I have special interests in the assessment and treatment of pelvic disorders (particularly the sacroiliac joint) and foot disorders. 

The initial assessment will consist of a short discussion to establish the nature of the problem and your goals with regard to physiotherapy. 

This will be followed by a full musculoskeletal assessment appropriate to your condition, to include your alignment, muscle strength and movement to form a clinical impression and treatment plan.
