Leírás

At Bothwell Physiotherapy we aim to educate you about your problem and give you a better understanding of what is causing your pain. This empowers you to help yourself.

First Appointment

On your first appointment you will be warmly greeted by the receptionist, asked to fill in your details and a few questions regarding your current condition and medical history. The physiotherapist will lead you through to one of four individual and private treatment rooms where you will be asked further detailed questions about your history. With your consent the physiotherapist will then assess you. To assess you effectively you may have to remove some clothing, so wear loose fitting comfortable clothes and it would be useful if you could bring shorts or a strappy top if appropriate.
Your physiotherapist will complete a detailed and thorough assessment of your problem including range of movement, muscle power, neurological testing, muscle spasm and pain along with any possible underlying causes and will give you a working diagnosis for your problem.

After your initial assessment your physiotherapist will then construct and discuss an individualised treatment plan for you. He/She will then offer you a variety of treatment techniques to help restore normal function to the relevant area and help alleviate your symptoms.

Following your treatment the physiotherapist will then re-assess your key markers to demonstrate the improvement to you. We will then take you through exercises to help you to improve your condition.Following your treatment the physiotherapist will then re-assess your key markers to demonstrate the improvement to you.
