Electrolysis is the only permanent method to remove hair, it works by passing a small electric current along a fine probe into the hair follicle, killing the hair at the root. It is suitable to remove hair from all over the body for both woman and men.
We use a combination of four types of electrolysis hair to get the quickest, best and most comfortable results for our clients. The galvanic method, using direct current, creates a chemical reaction to kill the hair at its root. Short-wave diathermy technique uses heat to achieve the same result. Blend electrolysis, which combines the two above techniques of heat and chemical, create a fast and thorough process.
We use the new generation of Apilus machines which use the above techniques plus PicoFlash or Synchro for unparalleled comfort. The current passes within milliseconds, our clients only feels a very light tingling sensation during the treatment session.
The procedure
An average treatments are between 30-60 minutes, depending on the number of hairs to be treated. We advise that you should be committed to regular appointment to start with, at first weekly reducing frequency to monthly then as required in case of new growth. The procedure itself is non-invasive but you may feel some discomfort and your skin may be pink and mildly irritated but should settle down fairly quickly.
