The Imperial College Health Centre provides 24 hour care for its NHS registered patients. The doctors and nurses here provide general medical care. Help is available for dealing with stress, study difficulties, pregnancy counselling and health promotion. Also available is a consultant psychiatrist and a sports physician, part-time counsellors, psychotherapists and physiotherapists. Services provided here include minor surgical procedures like removal of warts, skin lumps and treatment for in-growing toe nails, examinations for employment, insurance, sports activities. Also available are complementary therapies like acupuncture and herbal medicine, chiropractic, osteopathy and aromatherapy massage.
