Environ skincare was developed by eminent South African plastic surgeon Dr Des Fernandes, who trained our skin specialist. All the knowledge and experience of working with and advising other skin care specialists on the use of Environ, is now being put to work in Waters Edge Clinic.

Dr Fernandes pioneered the revolutionary Medical Skin Needling treatment, also referred to as dermarolling, which uses the the skin\'s own powers of rejuvenation to dramatically improve collagen production. This leads to firmer, more youthful skin, with lines and wrinkles being noticeably reduced.

Waters Edge clinic also offers non-surgical facelifting treatments, non-surgical permanent fat and cellulite reduction, Environ facials, and has upgraded to SHR Laser hair removal.

SHR Laser hair removal is the latest concept in pain-free permanent hair removal. Using a patented diode laser technology, hair follicles are destroyed by using low fluence, repetitive light pulses, targeting susceptible hair follicles. Compared to traditional Laser and IPL hair removal systems, which fire around 2-4 high powered shots into each hair follicle, SHR fires a minimum of 20-30 shots into each follicle.

This new technology progressively heats the deeper layers of the skin where the hair follicle is growing, while keeping the skin surface cool using Crystal Contact Cooling.

The IN-Motion technology means that the whole area is covered as the applicator \'sweeps\' over the treated area several times, ensuring that nothing is missed.
