As a specialist in surgery of the face I have degrees in both medicine and dentistry. I hold the general FRCS (Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons) as well as the FRCS (OMFS), the specialist FRCS exam for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, have undertaken nine years of specialist training in Head and Neck Surgery as well as having undertaken fellowships in Craniofacial Surgery and Cosmetic Surgery.

I strongly believe that you should not be pressured into having any treatments or surgery if there are alternative options available that may give similar results, or if I feel that you would not benefit from surgery or that you have unrealistic expectations of what can be achieved.

Conversely there are many non-surgical cosmetic treatments on the market that claim to produce the same results as having surgery. These are often highly priced and in some cases surgery maybe the better option for producing long term results.
